Glenmart

Welcome to the Glendale School Store!

Glenmart is Glendale’s school store. It is run by a group of 5th grade students at Glendale with the assistance of parent volunteers. The school store is a special edition to Glendale as the 5th graders are able to learn about all that goes into running a small business. They learn about creating a business plan, inventory, marketing, counting money and making change while also practicing their teamwork and leadership skills.

Each year, the 5th grade Glenmart employees and parent advisers discuss how to use Glenmart profits. In previous years, they have provided extra recess equipment to classrooms and have donated a portion of their profits to R.O.C.K. (Reaching Our Community Kids, a local non-profit).

Glenmart is typically open two Fridays per month. Students in grades 2-5 are able to shop at the store while Kindergarten and 1st grade can submit an order form to their teacher any day Glenmart is open.
