There are many ways to be part of your child’s education no matter how much time you have to give.

How to Help at Glendale

Volunteer at school

Contact your child’s teacher to learn about classroom volunteer opportunities.

Volunteer at events

Volunteer at school events held throughout the year (i.e., Back-to-School Night, Conference Night Dinners for Teachers, etc.). For each event, an online sign-up will be emailed to parents asking for volunteers. These events can’t be held successfully without parent volunteers!

Teacher's wishlist

Fulfill an item or two from a teacher’s wishlist. Wishlists may be included in the teacher’s newsletter and/or posted in their classrooms.

Fundraisers

Participate in planning or helping out at our annual fundraisers (i.e. Fall Fun Run and the Spring Fling).

collect box tops

Collect Box Tops for Education ($0.10 is given to the school for each Box Top). There are hundreds of eligible items. Go to www.BTFE.com to learn how to participate.

Restaurant nights

The PTC hosts restaurant nights at local restaurants throughout the year. Eat out at a specific restaurant on a certain night, and the restaurant will donate a percentage of your order to the school. Watch for information during the year.

attend ptc meetings

Attend the monthly PTC meetings to learn how you can help with ongoing projects, events, and fundraisers.
